Gift of Life Campus Ambassadors Program

Oct 31, 2018

Are you seeking an on-campus internship opportunity that offers you both valuable skills and the chance to give back to the community? Would you like to actually save lives while networking with your peers?

Gift of Life Marrow Registry is looking for motivated college students to represent our organization on campus as Campus Ambassador (CAP) interns to help add new donors to the registry. More than 85% of lifesaving transplants for blood cancer patients come from donors who are 18 to 25, so we need your help to get your fellow students into the registry.

Applications for the Spring 2019 semester open on November 1 and close on December 15.

Those who are accepted will receive free online training and will be invited to attend our symposium in Boca Raton, Florida, in August 2019. Campus Ambassadors will learn:

  • The science of transplantation – how stem cells and marrow can cure blood cancer
  • Recruiting and managing volunteers
  • Leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Using social media and marketing to promote your drives
  • And much more!
